Is the science of the action and movement of muscles. Originally part of physical therapy, it was developed in a new direction, Applied Kinesiology, by Dr. George Goodheart in the early 1960's.

Goodheart found a connection between the muscles as they are known in Western Medicine and the Chinese Acupuncture System.

Dr. John Thie introduced Touch for Health in the 1970's, and is now established in at least 55 countries.
